Master equation model for solute transport in river basins: part I channel fluvial scale

چکیده

Abstract Normal and anomalous diffusion are ubiquitous in many physical complex systems. Here we define a system of equations generalized time space, using the conservation principles mass momentum at channel scale by master equation. A numerical model for describing steady one-dimensional advection-dispersion equation solute transport streams channels imposed with point-loading is presented. We find parameter as solution this estimating transition probability that characterizes phenomenon regime. The results presented (Part I) refer to represent first part research project has been extended basin scale.

Extraction of model parameters for reactive solute transport

In the present study, tried to examine the reactive solute relationships for transport and degradation processes through the rockfill media. By applying the analytical solution of reactive transport, the 1st to 3rd theoretical temporal moments have been extracted then, by using two methods of curve fitting and temporal moment matching, the coefficients of dispersion and degradation have been ex...

Convective-Dispersive Stream Tube Model for Field-Scale Solute Transport: I. Moment Analysis

Field-scale solute transport is typically difficult to model due to the complexity and heterogeneity of flow and transport in natural soils. The stream tube model attempts to stochastically describe transport across the field for relatively short travel distances by viewing the field as a series of independent vertical soil columns. This study investigates the stream tube model with the chemica...

Core-scale solute transport model selection using Monte Carlo analysis

[1] Model applicability to core-scale solute transport is evaluated using breakthrough data from column experiments conducted with conservative tracers tritium ðHÞ and sodium-22 ðNa Þ, and the retarding solute uranium-232 ðUÞ. The three models considered are single-porosity, double-porosity with single-rate mobile-immobile mass-exchange, and the multirate model, which is a deterministic model t...
